English Pale Ale is a style that was born amidst the industrial revolution in England. As new technology helped to make factories and farm work more efficient, brewers and maltsters were not to be left behind and used new fuel sources to easily create something that had long since been elusive: pale ale malt.
Riding the coat tails of the early pale ale maltsters, this beer offers a new complexity of flavour in each sip. 4 different malts combine to create a sweetness and mouthfeel that will be welcomed in anyone’s glass. The malt base is complemented by the layered addition of one single hop variety: Fuggles. Our staggered hop schedule allows every facet of the flavour profile of this truly English hop to be explored, proving why it has been a giant of British Brewing for generations.
This all-grain recipe kit includes all the grain and hops that you’ll need to make this hoppy, traditional English pale ale along with a package of English ale yeast for an easy fermentation. We have also included an instructional card and links to other resources for a worry-free brew day.
